Dr. Alvin Micabalo was born in Manhattan and raised locally here in Edison, NJ. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biological Science with Honors at Rutgers University, where he was Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Micabalo subsequently attended UMDNJ- School of Osteopathic Medicine where he obtained his Doctor of Osteopathy and completed his residency program in Jersey City.
Dr. Micabalo is certified in NCV/EMG studies and performs Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy for neck and back pain. He also administers ultrasound-guided injections for carpal tunnel syndrome, knee pain, shoulder pain, and trigger point injections. Dr. Micabalo is currently a member of the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Micabalo has worked diagnosing and treating various musculoskeletal conditions over the past fifteen plus years.
Dr. Micabalo currently lives in Metuchen with his wife and 3 children. In his spare time he is a chauffeur for his children and enjoys playing basketball, football and the guitar.
